Alongside our almshouses, the Six Masters' Charity generates funds each year to support disadvantaged people in the Worcester area. We are unable to fulfil every request for a grant, but each application will be seriously considered.
Grants for Individuals
The Six Masters' Charity is able to provide financial assistance to citizens of Worcester to avert crisis, alleviate poverty and unlock opportunities. It could be that you need emergency funds, accessibility adaptations to your home, money for a uniform or school trip, or support to attain a skill or qualification. These grants are designed to help people overcome challenges or achieve goals regardless of any disadvantages they may be facing.
Grants for Organisations
Charities, socially responsible organisations and education providers working in Worcester may apply to the Six Master's Charity for financial assistance. It may be to help raise money for a new resource, support vulnerable or disadvantaged people within the organisation, or to protect a piece of local heritage. These grants are intended for one-off projects and situations; we are unable to provide long-term funding for programmes or institutions.
